- Most SQL Server ETL processes involve Bulk Copy operations. SSIS provides OLE DB and Native Client. Both have a lot of Bulk Copy features implemented. ADO.Net only has SQLBulkCopy. It is the slowest, and not a lot of features are not implemented (ORDER hints).
