Since the IE does not understand program switches, I have to wrap my editor with a script.

MyScript.VBS

Option Explicit

Dim shell
Dim a
Dim f

Set shell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")

' Loop through arguments
For Each a In WScript.Arguments
  f = f & a & " "
Next
f = Trim(f)

shell.Run """C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe"" -multiInst -lhtml """ & f & """"

' Destroy script object
Set shell = Nothing
RegEdit32
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  Software
    Microsoft
      Internet Explorer
        View Source Editor
          Editor Name
            (Default) = C:\myscript.vbs
